Please join us at 7 pm for the official opening of the major survey exhibition Counterpoint in Black and White showcasing works by Arthur Nishimura and Craig Richards, two Alberta's nationally and internationally renowned art photographers, and for the official launch of Exposure 2012 - Calgary Banff Canmore Photography Festival.

Monique Westra, the exhibition curator and the two exhibiting art photographers, Arthur Nishimura and Craig Richards, will be in attendance. A wine & cheese reception will follow the official part.

MOCA's Counterpoint in Black and White special exhibition has been devised as a flagship presentation and contribution to the province-wide annual festival: Exposure 2012 - Calgary Banff Canmore Photography Festival (www.exposurephotofestival.com). A richly illustrated catalogue with a critical essay by Monique Westra, the exhibition curator, will accompany this exhibition project.
